Normally I hate that phrase you hear commonly from clients “It needs to POP more, can you make my designs POP?”
Like, my response is, “How would you describe this “POP” you speak of?”
“Well you should know, you’re the designer.”
Actually, I’m not really a designer, I’m more of a coder, and designing is what I admire, and attempt, but then again, so many beautiful free website templates out there, why invent the wheel? When I can simply manipulate it.
But I digress -
This article actually explains how to create this “POP” effect - I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed in it, it’s actually very informative.

the improvements to .attr() are nice for performance, and the relative CSS tools are going to make a lot of code simpler.
